Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount in one point along the upper edge. The sheet is slightly undulating. All extreme edges are deckled. There is a flattened crease running diagonally across the upper right corner and smaller flattened creases running diagonally across the lower right corner. There are a few pinholes in places, most predominately away from the composition. There is a tiny nick with associated minor paper abrasion to the upper part of the pillow in the upper right quadrant. There is some mount staining along the edges (not visible when framed) and some light staining with associated dots of foxing. There are a few minor handling marks, most predominately along the upper edge. The ink appears to have slightly faded. This work is in fairly good condition.
