Condition
Excellent condition overall for an object of this fragility. General wear and some minor breakage to the tapa throughout consistent with the object’s age, fragility and use within the culture. A couple of breaks to the wood frame at reverse of mask. Small area of old repair, possibly native, to the reverse on the proper right side. Excellent preservation of the pigment. Small labels bearing Elizabeth Pryce collection inv. no. EP-129 and Malcolm Davidson inv. No. 252 to reverse of mask.
