Condition

Good condition overall. Minor chips, scratches, marks and abrasions throughout consistent with the object’s age and use within the culture.Heavy wear to the bottom of the stirrer consistent with its traditional use. Some scattered and inactive insect holes and larger areas of insect damage throughout. Carved inscription reading "ObEd" on one side of the stirrer. Dark and encrusted patina throughout. Small label bearing Elizabeth Pryce collection inv. no. EP-89 to the bottom part of the stirrer.
