Condition
Excellent condition overall. Scratches, chips, abrasions and throughout consistent with age and use within the culture. Small cracks running vertically on reverse of shield, particularly around the handle, longest approximately 7 cm long. Small area of cracking to top proper left of the shield, likely caused by use. Very small modern hole to reverse of head of comb. Small label bearing Elizabeth Pryce collection inv. no. EP-182 on reverse of shield.
