The complete portfolio, comprising 34 lithographs, two printed in colors, 1944-45, with text by Francis Ponge, stamp-numbered 41 on the justification, from the total edition of 60, on Auvergne paper, printed and published by Mourlot, Paris, contained in the original paper wrappers (34 prints)
Condition
The portfolio is in good condition, the sheets are full. Some with an occasional, pale, tiny fox mark or small spot of faint discoloration. Three sheets with very pale damp-stain, visible on close inspection. The title page and plate 12 splitting very slightly along the fold at bottom. Plates 2 and 31 with a small tear in the right sheet edges. Plate 30 with a skillfully repaired loss in the right sheet edge (possibly inherent to production).
