Linoleum cut printed in colors, 1959, one of four trial proofs printed before the edition of 50, titled, inscribed and signed by the printer in pencil 'Les Danseurs au Hibou / Linogravure original de Picasso / H Arnéra', on Arches wove paper, printed by Arnéra, Vallauris, France, and with the Imprimerie Arnéra Archives Non Signé inkstamp on the verso, published by Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition, with full margins. Very faint mat- and light-stain, slightly darker at the sheet edges. The corners slightly softened and with a few small, soft creases. (A tiny pale fox mark and small spot of minor skinning in the upper right corner and a small accretion at the lower right extreme sheet edge.) An occasional spot of stray ink or surface soiling in the margins and on the verso.
