The terre de faïence service, comprising two soup tureens, one platter, one sauce boat, nine bowls and two plates, 1947, variously numbered '19' or '45', from the edition of 300, the plates and bowls inscribed with corresponding letters A - X (15 ceramics)

Condition

The ceramics are in good condition overall. (All with minor irregularities to the glaze.) The tureen inscribed '19' with a 10 mm loss to underside, a 5 mm hole at tip of the finial (possibly occurred during firing.) (A few tiny and inconspicuous chips to the glaze.) The tureen inscribed '45' with a small chip to the tip of the finial. The sauce boat with a 5 inch repaired crack to plate. The platter, plates and bowls all in good condition. A few plates and bowls with some inconspicuous chips to the reverse. ('Edition Picasso' inscription slightly smudged on two bowls and one tureen.)
