The set of 14 etchings with aquatint (13 with photogravure), 1989, each initialed in pencil, also signed in pencil, dated and numbered 40/65 on the title page (total edition includes eight artist's proofs), on Torinoko Gampi collĂ© and Almafi handmade paper, with blindstamp of the publisher, ULAE, West Islip, New York, with the title page, justification, interleaving sheets and the original basswood portfolio box, framed (14 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition, the full sheets. Each sheet with undulation and a few tiny fox marks in the margins and on the verso. Plates 3, 5, 7, and 11 with additional foxing/discoloration in the margins. (Several sheets with the hinges pressing slightly through at the top edge.) The title and justification in good condition with scattered fox marks; the paper binding splitting at the bottom.The basswood box in generally good condition with a band of tape wrapped around the center and residue from previous tape.
