Condition

This print is in overall excellent condition. A very small pressure point (>2mm) near right edge and a stain (5mm) near left edge, both only visible under raking light ant not disturbing the image. A vertical soft fold along left edge of card, not affecting image. A beautiful deep tones print.

Catalogue Note

This print was part of Ansel Adams' first solo exhibition at the Delphic Studio in 1933 in New York. The record list sent by Ansel Adams to the gallery is listing a print numbered with the same number 18 and titled as on the reverse of the mount. The letters between Alma Reed, Director of the Delphic Studio and Ansel Adams highlight that every prints was mounted and titled by Ansel Adams. This specific print was one of the first ones sold at the exhibition.
