Condition

This platinum-palladium print is in generally excellent condition. There is wear at the periphery of the margins and at the edges on the reverse of the mount, not affecting the image. On the reverse of the mount, the annotations in pencil are: '1224' (encircled), 'Wiggins-Teape paper on Aluminum, Multiple coating and printing 1 Platinum 2 Palladium,' and 'print made 1973.' The stamps read 'Hand-coated by the photographer' and 'Deacidified.' The stamp stating 'There are also in existence a number of silver prints not exceeding' is hand-canceled with graphite. The edition stamp on the reverse indicates that in addition to the 60 numbered prints in platinum, there may also exist no more than 30 unnumbered, but signed, gelatin silver prints.
