Condition

This gelatin silver print is in generally excellent condition. There is a small scratch that appears to break the emulsion to the right of the leftmost chair. There are 2 black deposits, possibly ink, in the upper left margin, and 2 tack holes at the lower left margin corner. There are 2 sharp creases that do not appear to break the emulsion: one is located in the upper left margin and extends slightly into the image and the other is near the center of the composition. Both are small, barely discernible, and do not affect the overall fine appearance of this print. 'PF71284-111' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. There are a few stains, scuffs, and 2 linen tape remnants at the upper left and right corners on the reverse. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce faintly.
