While this photograph has not been fully examined out of its frame, it appears to be in generally excellent condition. The colors remain vibrant and saturated with no apparent fading. Upon close examination, there are a few thin yellow areas at the upper and lower right corners; these appear to be inherent in the negative or a result of processing and not features on the surface of this print. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme edges where the print is in contact with the frame; this is not visible when viewing the photograph framed. The information on the Janet Borden label on the reverse of the frame is as follows: 'Larry Sultan Untitled (Mom against a Green Wall) 1989 from the series "Pictures from Home" 30x40 Ektacolor Plus print Ed.10.'
