Catalogue Note

Chris Levine is a light artist who works across a wide range of mediums. His images defy the traditional definition of a photograph by becoming objects such as LED sculptures, light boxes or lenticular prints. The use of technology plays an important role in his oeuvre as he argues that people have now become more used to it and accept it as a form of art rather than just a way of creating whizzy effects.
