Condition

Overall, the condition of the bronzes is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor casting flaws, including small lacunae throughout and a fissure at one of the putti's proper left ankle. There are a few minor nicks and scratches including to the putti's legs. There is minor pitting to the bronzes. The ebonised wood socles are carved in sections with slightly open but stable joints. There is further minor wear to the socles.
