Overall the condition of the sculpture is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor stable splitting to the wood consistent with the material, especially in a fold of drapery by the proper left leg and there is another large stable split running vertically at the reverse. Much early polychromy and gilding survives. The polychromy has flaked in areas. The polychromy has also been refreshed in areas. The proper right hand is carved separately and there is a joint at the proper left wrist. There is minor non active worming to the wood and there are some resultant losses to the wood including at the shoulders and back of the head. The proper right side of the body is carved separately and there is a later insert in the base.
