Condition

Overall the condition of the cross is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is wear to the blackened engraving in areas. There is some tarnishing to the brass, including to the bottom around the joints, and to the top of the cross on one side. The stand and arms were cast separately. There is some reddish residue to the stand, and there appear to be some repairs. There is a small fissure to the bottom of the stand.
