Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some rubbing to the lacquer patina at the high points. There is also some dryness and minor flaking to the patina, particularly around the shoulders and to the top of the hat. There are a few minor areas of scratching including to the proper right thigh. The bronze is very slightly loose on the base. There is minor general wear to the base, including an area of chips to one of the corners. There is green felt to the underside of the base.
