The bronze was cast in sections, and a joint is very slightly visible at the bottom of the neck.There are minor losses to the tips of two claws on the proper right foot and to the middle claw on the proper left foot. There are a few minor casting fissures to the feet.
The condition of the wood base is very good, with minor stable splitting to the wood, consistent with the material. There are minor chips and scratches to the edges and corners.
