  • glazed and polychromed terracotta
  • 21 by 31 by 15cm., 8¼ by 12¼ by 5 7/8 in. 
  • Workshop of Benedetto (1459/60-1521) and Santi Buglioni (1494-1576) Italian, Florence, early 16th century

Condition

Overall, the condition of the terracotta is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are various minor losses and chips to the glaze, in particular to the high points and the lower edges. There are minor losses to the fruits. There are original impurities to the white glaze. There are minor firing cracks to the reverse on the left side. There are cement residues to the reverse. There is a small hole for a TL hole on the reverse. There are two mount holes to the top.
