  • 56cm., 22in. each
  • Netherlandish, 19th century

Condition

Overall, the condition of the wood is very good, with minor dirt and some wear to the surface consistent with age. There is evidence of past worming to both candlesticks, in particular to the bases. There is further past worming to the top of one of the candlesticks around the drip pan. The bases are composed in sections and a joint is slightly visible to both bases. There is a small chip to this joint on one of the candlesticks. There is some greening and minor warping to the drip pans. There is candle wax residue to the drip pans and to the wood at the top of the candlesticks. One of the candlesticks is slightly loose on its base, but stable.
