Condition

There is evidence of past worming, in particular to the sides at the top and the bottom edge, where there are also losses to the wood. The wood was carved in sections and joints are visible around the top. The nose has been carved separately. There is stable splitting to the wood, consistent with the material, including slightly open but stable splits at the back and two the top. The paint layer has been refreshed. The tip of the nose is slightly rubbed. Otherwise, the condition is stable.
