Condition
Overall the condition of the copper is good, with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is rubbing to the surface, as a consequence much of the gilding is loss. There are losses to the fingers of both hands, and there is some warping, particularly around the edges. There are a few minor losses to the enamel, notably at the top of the perizonium. A modern metal loop is glued to the hollowed reverse, and there is a piece of paper to the reverse at the bottom.
