Condition

The panel is uncradled with a slight horizontal bow. Minor surface dirt and dust throughout. Scattered faint craquelure with associated pin dots of loss in the trees with some faint lifting. Minor quarter inch surface disturbance in the sky on upper left (that has been strengthened). Frame abrasions scattered along the edges. Under UV: thick varnish fluoresces green, small spots of inpainting scattered in the trees with one above the left figure, and others scattered along edges. Offered in an elaborately carved giltwood frame.
