Condition

Attributed to Roelandt Savery - Window mounted to an old decorative paper backing. The sheet has discoloured somewhat and there is evidence of surface dirt and staining throughout. There are some tiny remains of white heightening to the bridle and saddle of the horse. Sold unframed. After Roelandt Savery - 146 by 200 mm; 5 3/4 by 7 7/8 in - Hinge mounted to a modern mount. There is an old repaired tear that runs diagonally across the upper left corner of the sheet. There is evidence of surface dirt throughout, however the pen and ink medium remains fresh and vibrant throughout. Sold unframed.
