Condition

Horemans: Hinge mounted to a modern mount. There is evidence of surface dirt to the extremities of the sheet and a number of small brown stains to the upper centre and right half of the sheet. There is a small pin prick hole to the upper right corner. The four edges are all somewhat uneven. The purple collector's mark to the verso is showing through very slightly to the upper edge of the sheet. The sheet retains much of its original, vibrant blue colour and black chalk remains strong throughout. Sold unframed. German School - 103 by 135 mm; 4 by 5 1/4 in - Window mounted on an old decorative mount. There is minor rubbing and areas of surface dirt throughout the sheet. The image itself remains reasonably strong. Sold unframed. Dutch School, circa 1700 - 203 by 255 mm; 8 by 10 in - Hinge mounted to a modern mount. There are a number of old repaired tears to the lower right edge and lower edge. The sheet has previously been folded and as such has a vertical and horizontal fold line to it. There is evidence of surface dirt and scattered staining throughout. The red chalk medium remains in predominantly good condition throughout, with the image strong. Sold unframed. Dutch School late 18th Century - 305 by 343 mm; 12 by 9 1/2 in.
