Description

seated in lalitasana on a rockwork base, wearing long flowing robes, the face with a serene downcast expression and hair ornately tied beneath a cowl, with a boy attendant on one side and a later basket of fish on the other

Condition

This figure is in general good condition with the exception of some firing cracks and lines in various areas, particularly to the base (the longest approx. 2.5 cm from the base). There are minor burst bubbles and iron spots throughout. Other kiln imperfections include minor glaze inconsistencies and kiln adhesions. With a later basket to the foot and a later rectangular prism at one knee.
