Description

each modelled seated with body turned and astride a horse adorned with a rein, saddle and embellished saddle cloth, standing foursquare on a base carved with cloud scrolls

Condition

Both figures have minute nicks to the extremities including to the tip of the horse's ear, and part of the ornament in their hands are broken off and lost. One of the figure has been broken and restored at the rider's neck and around the abdomen, and also has a small chip to the rider's hat. Both with minor kiln imperfections including burst bubbles, iron spots, glaze inconsistencies, and firing lines in various areas.
