Description
- Marble, mahogany, softwood
- 74cm. high, 85.5cm. diam. 2ft 5in.; 2ft. 9 3/4in.
with radiating bands of specimens within a verde antico border
Condition
Marks and scratches consistent with age. The top with some chips along the edge, visible from the catalogue photograph, although specimen marbles in good condition. Base in need of attention, the frieze has loses to edge banding, loses to mahogany veneer and one big split to upper section of freeze. Painted legs with losses to paint and gilding, both of which not original. scuffing to feet, Gilt brass finial of a later date.
