Condition

The canvas has been relined. There is abrasion at the extreme right edge and at places to the other three edges. There is some scuffing to the lower right quadrant. There are some small flecks of loss to the third flower from the right, with a few minor instances elsewhere. There is a pattern of fine lines of cracking throughout the work and an area of cracking to the light blue towards the lower centre. There is surface dirt to the work and one or two minor instances of surface matter. There is a thick varnish to the work. Inspection under ultra violet light is made difficult by the nature of the varnish with a possible repair to the lower right quadrant. The work is held in a gilt painted wooden frame.
