Condition

The sculpture appears sound. The surface is uneven in places, in keeping with the Artist's working methods. There are one or two very minor casting imperfections. There are a few speckles of loss to the patina in one isolated area to the far inner edge of the leftmost curl. There are a small number of tiny scratches to the inside of the rear-most curl. There is some rubbing to the sculpture, particularly to the outside of the rear-most curl. There are one or two spots of inconsistencies to the surface. There is some minor oxidisation in places. The stringed elements all appear secure with one or two flecks of oxidisation. The top two may have been slightly bent. There is some light surface dirt in places. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition. The work has an integral Artist's bronze base.
