Condition

Please note that this work is stretched but unframed. The canvas is unlined and slightly loose. There appears to be areas of minor cracking and resulting surface loss visible along all four framing edges, particularly to the upper right hand corner. There also appear to be staple punctures dispersed along all four framing edges indicating that the canvas as been restretched. There is a minor tear to the canvas located along the right hand framing edge, where the canvas was once stapled during the stretching process. The work exhibits minor surface cracks within the blue sky, the largest crack measuring approximate.y 1.5cm. long. Upon close inspection, there also appears to be a minor surface crack within the lower left hand quadrant to the base of the vertical black geometric shape. There appear to be minor dents to the canvas (from the reverse) throughout. The largest dent being within the lower right hand corner of the work. This dent appears to be the result of a stretcher bar. .Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no signs of restoration or repair. Overall the work is in good condition.
