Condition

Please note that this work is stretched and unframed. The canvas is unlined. There appear to be very minor surface marks throughout which appear to be contemporary to the creation of the work. There appears to be minor cracking along all four framing edges of the work. This cracking is particularly visible within the lower right hand corner of the work. There is a further area of minor cracking visible within the upper right-hand quadrant of the work. There is an abrasion in the pale background in the lower left of the composition which could be removed with minimal inpainting. There are other very small abrasions which again are limited to the background. The painting would benefit from light surface cleaning.
