Given by the artist to the current owner in Norway circa 1983-4 The consignor is a relative of Mari Vik, the founder and owner of Galleri Koloritten, Stavanger, Norway. Raza held his first exhibition in Norway at this gallery in 1974 and then continued to exhibit there for over a decade.
Two pinhole sized losses are visible upon very close scrutiny. A small water stain is also apparent in the centre of the work. Slight irregularities to the paint surface are noticeable, however, these may be inherent to the time of creation. The painting is in good overall condition, as viewed.
