Condition

The canvas is lined. Underneath an old varnish reads a beautiful view, with the paint surface well preserved, such as on the foreground. Under the inspection of UV light, scattered spots of retouches fluoresce throughout the sky. In-painting, possibly to address craquelure also fluoresces under UV. Further thinner spots of retouching are here and there along the edges of the canvas. The painting is offered in a gilded, elaborately carved wood frame.
