Centering an emerald-cut emerald weighing 12.03 carats, accented by two trapeze-cut diamonds, size 5½, signed Tiffany & Co., numbered 28783361. With signed box.

Condition

The mounting in very good condition with minute nicks and scratching. Mounted in platinum. The emerald is a richly saturated, medium deep, very slightly bluish green. A spectacular crystal with small, scattered inclusions, none of which appear to break the surface (stone viewed in mounting). According to the Tiffany retail replacement valuation, the diamonds weigh 2.08 carats and are D color, VS1 clarity. Please note that the exact ring size cannot be obtained due to sizing beads fitted inside the band; fits like a size 5½. Mounting custom-made for the client by Tiffany & Co. The mounting accompanied by a Tiffany & Co. Retail Replacement Valuation dated December 3, 2018.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 58340 dated January 26, 2011 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no clarity enhancements. Together with a letter stating that "natural emeralds from Colombia of this size and quality represent a great rarity and the described gemstone is thus a very exceptional treasure." Accompanied by AGL report no. 1096216 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin, with no clarity enhancements.
