  • Bulgari
The carved heart-shaped emerald weighing approximately 87.60 carats, capped with a pear-shaped cabochon ruby and pavé-set round diamonds, suspended from a detachable rope-like gold link chain, length 17¼ inches, signed Bulgari and Bulgari N.Y., numbered C2166, with Italian assay and registry marks.

Condition

In good condition overall, with light scratching to the surface of the chaining. Signed Bulgari NY on chain clasp and Bulgari C12166 87.60 cts on pendant. Mounted in 18K yellow gold. The carved emerald is a medium light green color and is moderately included, with surface reaching inclusions, typical of the material. The reverse exhibits several partial drill holes. The diamonds, weighing approximately 1.10 carat, are approximately F-G color and VS clarity. The cabochon ruby is a medium slightly pinkish red color and is translucent. Accompanied by a photocopy of a Bulgari statement dated July 29, 1993.
