  • Tiffany
Centering an oval-shaped tourmaline weighing 5.19 carats, flanked by half moon-shaped diamonds, the band further accented by round diamonds, size 5½, signed Tiffany & Co., numbered 24942678. With signed box.

In very good condition with light scratching and nicking to the mounting. The tourmaline is vibrant, medium very slightly greenish blue, eye-clean and with no apparent inclusions under 10x magnification. The two half-moon diamonds stated to weight 1.15 carats and the small round diamond stated to weigh 0.14 carat, are approximately D-F color, VS clarity. The exact ring size of the ring cannot be obtained due to sizing beads, but the ring fits like a 5½. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1094610 stating that the tourmaline is natural and of Mozambique origin, clarity enhancement: none, with additional comment “this color of tourmaline is commonly the result of a relatively low temperature heating process.” Accompanied by a Tiffany & Co. Retail Replacement Valuation dated October 26, 2009.
