Of lattice design, alternately set with oval-shaped cabochon moonstones and quatrefoil clusters of round sapphires, length 7½ inches, signed Tiffany & Co.; circa 1920.


In good condition with surface scratches and very minor discoloration to the metal commensurate with age, only noticeable under close inspection. Mounting tests as platinum. Scratch number '3696' found on the male end of clasp, dating the piece to circa 1920 and placing it within Meta Overbeck's tenure at Louis Comfort Tiffany's studio. The moonstones, measuring approximately 10.4 x 8.3 mm to 10.7 x 9.1 mm, are transparent, with strong blue adularescence, and very minor surface scratches visible under 10x magnification. The sapphires are medium light very slightly violetish blue to blue, slightly included. Gross weight approximately 34 dwts. Width approximately 1 inch.
