Scratching and nicking to mounting. SAPPHIRE RING: the carved sapphire of a medium blue color and moderate inclusions, abraded at facet junctions. Mounting shows regular wear and evidence of previous sizing to the shank. Diamonds are of decorative quality and the mounting is scratched and nicked. PLATINUM RING: The partially obscured inscription on the reverse of the platinum double band reads 'Hutto from Rabbit, 14th Sept 1915'. Partially numbered 2913. With a patina that hints of regular wear.
