Description

Comprising: a detachable pendant centered on a six-rayed star-shaped emerald weighing 6.46 carats, framed by old mine and old European-cut diamonds, designed to be alternately mounted on a clip-brooch of floral design, set with two emerald-cut emeralds and numerous old-European and round diamonds, with screwdriver to detach pendant; a necklace designed as a line of old European-cut diamonds, set to the front with four emerald-cut emeralds, framed and accented by old mine and old European-cut diamonds, length 15ΒΌ inches, fitted with pendant hook; and a pair of earclips en suite, earclips signed Webb. With signed and fitted box by David Webb.

Condition

All pieces in very good condition, with minor scratches, not visible when worn. The star-shaped emerald of very slightly bluish green hue, medium tone, and very strong saturation; the stone displays a notably high degree of clarity with one subtly eye visible inclusion; moderate wear to the table and crown with scratches and abraded facet junctions. The 18 old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.60 carats, are approximately G-I color and VS clarity, with no obvious wear at 10x magnification. The necklace set with numerous old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 30.90 carats, approximately G-I color, VS-I clarity, with a majority VS-SI; the four emeralds ranging from approximately 1.70 to 2.10 carats each, approximately 7.50 carats total, medium green, minor to moderately included, very slight wear visible at 10x magnification. The brooch set with numerous old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.10 carats, approximately G-I color, VS-I clarity, with a majority VS-SI; two emeralds weighing approximately 3.45 carats total, medium green, with minor inclusions, minor wear visible at 10x magnification. The earclips set with two emeralds weighing approximately 3.10 carats total, medium to moderately deep green, minor to moderate inclusions, minor to moderate wear with scratches and abrasions subtly eye visible; and numerous old European and round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.10 carats total, approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity, no obvious wear at 10x magnification. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1094189 stating that the emerald is of Classic Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.
