Description

Centering an old European-cut Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond weighing 3.64 carats, set within a decorative gold mounting applied with black enamel, signed CWS Sons, size 6¾; circa 1890.

Condition

In good condition, with wear to the metal, commensurate with age. Metal tests as 18 karat gold. Signature partially rubbed. The black enamel in fair condition with areas of loss and scratches, not readily apparent when worn. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2195230476 stating that the diamond is Fancy Vivid Yellow, Natural Color, SI1 clarity.
