Description

Centering two cabochon sapphires together weighing 11.75 carats, framed and accented by cabochon sapphires, round rubies, round emeralds and round diamonds, signed Van Cleef and Arpels, numbered NY 46428; circa 1964.

Condition

In good condition, with light wear to the mounting, commensurate with age. Stamped © 1964. Mounted in 18 karat gold. The two cabochon sapphires stated to weigh 11.75 carats and the 16 sapphire beads stated to weigh 11.70 carats are a medium blue color, moderately to heavily included. The 12 rubies stated to weigh 1.73 carats are a medium slightly purplish red color, slightly to moderately included. The 8 emeralds stated to weigh 0.88 carat are medium slightly bluish green color, moderately included. The 40 round diamonds stated to weigh 3.47 carats are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. A photocopy of the Van Cleef & Arpels Insurance Valuation dated March 5, 1976 available upon request.
