Description

Centering an oval-shaped yellow sapphire weighing approximately 22.00 carats, encircled by baguette and round diamonds, further framed by round emeralds, size 5¾, signed David Webb.

Condition

In good condition, minor scratches and dents to the bottom of the shank commensurate with wear and not visible when worn. Stamped 18K for 18 karat gold; the diamond set sections test as platinum. The sapphire of yellow hue, medium tone, and strong saturation; slightly included with one small concentration of inclusions near the girdle edge under the crown that is subtly eye visible and a few scattered minute crystal inclusions under 10x magnification. Moderate wear with abraded girdle edges and crown facet junctions, scratches to the table and crown. The ring set with 20 baguette diamonds weighing approximately 4.65 carats, approximately F-I color, VS clarity; 64 round diamonds weighing approximately 2.60 carats, approximately G-I color, VS clarity; and 24 round and oval-shaped emeralds of medium green color, ranging from lightly to significantly included, scattered stones with shallow surface cavities, minor to moderate wear with abraded facet junctions. Ring size 5¾.
