Description

The necklace composed of fluted emerald beads, fluted sapphire beads, ruby beads and baroque cultured pearls measuring approximately 22.8 to 15.2 mm, capped and spaced by gold ropetwist accents, length 19 inches, signed Webb; and a pair of hammered gold earclips, centered on fluted emeralds, accented by round diamonds, signed David Webb.  

Condition

In good condition overall. The necklace mounted in 18 karat gold. The earclips mounted in 18 karat gold and platinum. Light scratching to the surfaces of gold on all pieces. The polished ruby and fluted sapphire beads are deep in color and are nearly opaque; one ruby bead is chipped but remains stable in its mounting. The fluted emerald beads are a light green color and are heavily included, many of those inclusions in the form of fissures and cavities breaking the surface. The pearls are a creamy silver color, semi-baroque shape with waxy to good luster. Signed on the inside of the plunger clasp. The emeralds are a light green and are heavily included, with typical surface reaching fissures, inclusions and cavities. Diamonds weigh approximately 0.10 carat and are approximately H-I color and SI clarity. Length approximately 1⅛ inches.
