Composed of a strand of 30 cultured pearls measuring approximately 9.3 to 8.9 mm, spaced by gold rondelles, centered on a geometric plaque set with a cushion-cut emerald weighing approximately 2.80 carats, highlighted with baguette and round diamonds, the clasp also accented by round diamonds, length 15½ inches, signed Bulgari, numbered BD 367 and c1194, with partial Italian registry mark.
Condition
In very good condition, scattered scratches to metalwork. Stamped 750 for 18 karat gold. The emerald of slightly bluish green hue, medium tone and moderately strong saturation; two eye visible inclusions are more subtle when worn, the remainder of the stone of high clarity; no obvious wear at 10x magnification. The 34 round diamonds weighing approximately 1.30 carats, the 16 baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. The stringing very slightly stretched. The clasp closes securely. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1095545 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.
