Designed as a peacock feather, set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 21.76 carats, the mount enhanced with circular-cut gemstones, including variously coloured sapphires, rubies, amethysts, and brilliant-cut diamonds, size 52, signed Boucheron, numbered, French assay mark for gold and maker's mark.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 102173, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire, weighing 21.76 carats, measuring 16.27 x 14.85 x 9.04mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating; together with an LFG report. Signed BOUCHERON, numbered CS1977, French maker's mark for Boucheron and assay mark for 18 carat gold. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some very minor abrasions. For more information on the sapphire please refer to SSEF report. Circular-cut gemstones overall in good condition. Diamonds bright and lively. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 31 grams.
