Description

Set throughout with clusters of oval-shaped rubies framed with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 185mm, French assay mark for gold.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 69648, stating that twenty-one rubies are of Burmese origin and one of Vietnamese origin, twenty-two with no indications of heating one with indications of heating. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed R 30.65, BO 7.97, and B 26.68, for total stated carat weight of rubies, oval diamonds and brilliant-cut diamonds respectively. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions. Diamonds on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 68 grams.
