Description

Set with oval-shaped and circular-cut rubies, accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 350mm, French assay marks for gold.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 69647, stating that thirty-four rubies are of Burmese origin and one ruby of Vietnamese origin, with no indications of heating, rubies measuring from approximately from 6.70 x 6.50 x 3.95mm to 10.35 x 7.90 x 4.70mm, stated to weigh from approximately 1.30 to 3.50 carats. Stamped OR 750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed R 85.10 for total stated carat weight of rubies and B 61.67 for total stated carat weight of diamonds. Rubies well matched in colour, red of medium strong saturation with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions. Diamonds on average G-I colour, VS clarity, as graded within the limitations of the mount. Minor evidence of normal wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 139 grams.
