CORAL, RUBY, CULTURED PEARL AND DIAMOND DEMI-PARURE, JAR

Comprising: a pair of pendent ear clips, each pavé-set with circular-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds and set with polished coral, supporting a pendant similarly set with rubies, diamonds and a cultured pearl; and a partially articulated pendant/ornament of heart-shaped outline, composed of carved coral and set with bands of brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut rubies, the centre and each end set with half cultured pearls inset with coral cabochons, one end hinged, pendant and one ear clip signed JAR, all with French assay marks for gold and maker's marks.

Pendant/ornament: signed Jar Paris on back of band set with rubies, stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold and maker's mark in three places and stamped SC 750. Measures approximately 75mm diameter. Earclips: one clip fitting signed Jar Paris, both with maker's mark, French assay mark for 18 carat gold and SC 750, numbered 5606. Measures approximately 48mm in length. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.00-7.00 carats. Rubies pinkish red, well matched for colour, some typical inclusions visible under magnification, some with very small chips to facet edges. Cultured pearls in earclips irregular drop shaped, button shaped on pendant, each with typical growth features such as pitting and banding. Very light scuffs to metal consistent with wear. Overall in good condition.
