Description

  • Chaumet
Comprising: a necklace set with graduated cabochon turquoises, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, interspersed by brilliant-cut, marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, suspending a detachable cabochon turquoise similarly framed, inner circumference approximately 430mm; a pair of ear clips with detachable pendants; and a ring, each signed Chaumet, ring numbered, each with French assay marks for gold and maker's mark, case stamped Chaumet.

Condition

Necklace and ring signed CHAUMET PARIS, ring numbered 8258, each with French maker's mark for Chaumet & Cie, 12 Place Vendôme, 75001 Paris, assay marks for 18 carat gold. Turquoise measuring from approximately 14.19 x 10.79 x 6.66mm, to approximately 33 x 22.86 x 14.28mm, well matched in colour, of greenish blue body colour, some with typical matrix inclusions to the reverse. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 105.00 - 120.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Clasp secure, safety catch. Total gross weight approximately 326 grams. Fitted case stamped Chaumet, together with a Chaumet book.
